Schedules from the Authoring Software

Ratios can be used to calculate the formwork based on the surface area of the sides and/or bottom of each element from the authoring schedule.

Columns: Considered as 100% of the sides' surface provided in the schedule.
Beams: Combine the bottom area with 50% of the sides’ area (to disregard the intersected area with slabs).
Slabs: Only the bottom surface area is considered.

Note on Precision: While this method may not offer the highest level of precision, some companies deem it sufficient for the estimation phase of their projects.
